More about The Thatched Cottage (the location)

Welcome to the Thatched Cottage Carlton Husthwaite, near Thirsk North Yorkshire, the home of the famous vet James Herriot. Many of our visitors come to follow the Herriot Trail and see the locations used in the film and TV versions of his books.

We welcome guests into our home either as B & B or Self Catering holidays both being accommodated in our delightful and luxurious self contained guest suite.
