Nestling in quiet countryside on the Pennine Way, and with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales, this traditional cosy cottage is conveniently placed alongside the Ancient Unicorn, a quiet, traditional sixteenth century coaching inn serving excellent food.

The village of Bowes is clustered round a Norman castle and is ideally located for walkers of all abilities and both the Pennine and Teesdale Ways are close by whilst the beautiful landscape of Swaledale is a short drive.

This delightful 18th century stone cottage offers well equipped and comfortable self-catering accommodation: one twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, bidet, washbasin and WC, a well fitted kitchen and sitting room with sofa bed. There are storage heaters throughout and focal electric fire in the sitting room, where there is also colour TV/DVD with Freeview.
