A 400 year old Grade II listed dales farmhouse retaining many original features providing comfortable self-catering accommodation for 6+2 people. It is a wonderful setting for holidays in the glorious Yorkshire Dales.

Situated in an elevated position overlooking the pretty village of Bainbridge. It is an extremely spacious and characterful detached property, with its origins in the 15th, but mainly 17th-century.

All modern-day conveniences, including central heating, combine with the log/coal burner in the dining parlour, cosy open fire in the lounge, flagged floors, beamed ceilings, shutters and many items of period furniture to create a comfortable and relaxing environment.

The Old Hall (the cottage)

The very well equipped and spacious accommodation includes many period features and lots of little touches to make your stay a real home-from-home experience.

Downstairs:

-fully equipped kitchen including microwave, toaster,
dishwasher etc
-the utility room off the kitchen has a washer and dryer
-dining parlour with stove and Hi-fi
-study with toilet off
-separate lounge with open fire, colour TV, video and
DVD player.

Upstairs - via 2 staircases:

steep winding stone staircase from the parlour leading onto a very large sitting area with futon (sleeps 2 in comfort) and

-4-poster double bedroom off.
-passage through to the double and the twin bedrooms
-The second, wider staircase leads down to the back
door and the rear door of the TV lounge
-all bedrooms are en-suite.

Oil-fired central heating, some coal and a basket of logs are provided along with linen and towels. There is parking for 2 vehicles and a rear garden with furniture and a BBQ area for those balmy Yorkshire evenings...!! or even alfresco fish & chips on Wednesdays.

Well behaved pets are welcome - keep them to the ground floor, off the furniture and bring their bed for sleeping in the utility room please, thank you. The property is non-smoking.
