More about Kerne Cottage (the location)

Kerne Cottage was originally built in 1832 (or thereabouts) in the heart of the Wye Valley and actually on the Wye Valley Walk, the building was originally a forge. It has now been transformed into a holiday cottage for your comfort and enjoyment.

This newly refurbished cottage stands in one of the most beautiful parts of the Wye Valley, just a few steps from the famous River, and close to the Royal Forest of Dean. Also a short drive away are the Malvern Hills, Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, The Skirrid, The Sugar Loaf and The Golden Valley. The ruins of Goodrich and Raglan Castles are nearby, as is Symonds Yat, and Tintern Abbey.

Christine and Graeme would like to welome you to Kerne Cottage a pretty two bedroom property at Kerne Bridge. This delightful accommodation sleeps up to four people and is equipped with everything you need to make your stay feel like a home from home.

Kerne Cottage is the perfect place to use as a base when visiting the Wye Valley, for as well as being very near to the market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, it is also close to many activity centres and attractions.
