We are situated in the beautiful north Pembrokeshire countryside on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park and overlooking the Preseli Hills which are reputedly the source of the Stonehenge Bluestones. Pembrokeshire is also home to Britain's only coastal National Park and this is only 10 minutes drive away. Visitors are attracted to the tranquil beauty of the countryside and can walk some of the 186 miles of the clifftop Coastal Path. It is an excellent location for birdwatching.Bro Meigan (the cottage)
The cosy Cottage for two makes a delightful base for a range of activities. The Preseli Hills are a few minutes? drive away and can provide a range of walks to suit any ability and the Coastal Path and beaches are a 10-minute drive away. There is also a 6.5-acre Garden and a small traditional Tearoom that are open to the Public from Easter to late summer.The sitting room contains a comfortable 3-seater sofa, colour TV with Freeview/Video/DVD, large inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove and items of occasional furniture. Several stairs lead from the sitting room up to the kitchen.
The Kitchen is fully fitted and well equiped with a modern electric cooker with ceramic hob, fridge, microwave oven, and a breakfast table and chairs.
The bedroom has a double bed, bedroom furniture and an en suite bathroom with bath, electric shower over, wash hand basin, and WC. The bed has a duvet and bed linen is provided. Towels are available on request.
Electricity is included in the rental and night storage heaters when required provide heating. Logs for the wood burner are available from the owners at a charge of ?3 per basket.
Outside furniture (patio table and chairs, reclining loungers, BBQ, etc.) is available to enable guests to take advantage of the beautiful views of the garden and Preseli Hills beyond. Please note that there is no view over the garden from the inside of the Cottage.
