More about The Chapel at Litton Cheney (the location)
Set in the sought-after village of Litton Cheney is the charming Non Conformist Chapel, attached to Chapel House, Litton Cheney which is the owners accommodation. The traditional stone-built Methodist chapel has been very recently converted and is renovated to a very high standard of holiday accommodation.
Originally built in 1875, it was deconsecrated around 1912 and became disused, even doing duty as a wood-turner's workshop among other uses.
The current owner has converted it sensitively to retain as many of its original features as possible while making a comfortable and stylish house.
The sea is close by - close enough to be heard on quiet nights with beaches 3 and 5 miles away.
The nearest shop is 2 miles away with excellent farm shops 1 and 1.5 miles away, the village pub with an excellent menu is merely a 250m walk.
