More about Warcombe Farmhouse (the location)

Warcombe is a beautiful four bedroom period farmhouse located just a few minutes from the pretty North Devon seaside village of Lee Bay in North Devon.

This lovely village has something to offer everyone. Nicely sheltered by the valley, affectionately refereed to as 'Fuchsia Valley' due to the scarlet flower's abundance in the gardens and hedgerows, the village is a nice place to spend an afternoon or evening.

The village is home to the Grampus Inn, a pet and family friendly pub serving very good food. This lovely homely pub has a roaring fire going in the winter months, making it a warm and cosy place to eat and revive chilly feet. There is also a nice garden with sea views, which is an excellent place to have an evening meal or long cold drink in the summer. The Grampus Inn also doubles up as the village pub and post office. Lee Bay also has its on beach, which is great for sunbathing or playing rock pools.

Within a few minutes drive of Warcombe Farmhouse, you will discover some of the best beaches in the country. Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton offer miles of golden sandy beaches and clear blue waters. They are ideal for all manner of water sports as well as sunbathing.

A number of towns and village are easily reached from the farmhouse, including Barnstaple with its historic pannier market, theatre and multi-screen cinema; Ilfracombe home to artist Damien Hirst's statue 'Verity,' which sits proudly overlooking the towns harbour; and Lynton and Lynmouth, also known as 'Little Switzerland' where Exmoor meets the sea.
