Dolly's Barn at Higher Mullacott FarmA spacious and tastefully decorated barn conversion for up to 11 guests.
Enter into a hallway with wide open stairs and fully glazed door leading to large open plan lounge/kitchen area.
Relax in the lounge area on one of three large comfy sofas, situated around an LPG wood burner with coffee table and armchair. A large flat screen TV is wall mounted with a separate dvd/cd player.
A huge wooden dining table is located alongside a fully equipped kitchen - a large range electric oven with 5 gas hobs; microwave, Bosch dishwasher, and two fridges. This area is dual aspect so is very light and airy with patio doors overlooking the picturesque courtyard and the original barn entrance which is now fully glazed from floor to ceiling.
A door from the kitchen area leads to a ground floor, double bedroom with a courtyard window and has matching antique pine bedside cabinets and double wardrobe with drawers. The en-suite ‘wet’ room is fully tiled and is also suitable for guests with disabilities.
From the entrance hall, take the wide stairs up to the first floor hallway which has wooden floorboards throughout (reclaimed from Ilfracombe Town’s former theatre) and sloping ceilings and beams. The first room off the hallway is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and matching antique pine double wardrobe and chest of drawers. A cot is also located in this room.
Two further twin-bedded rooms can be found along the hallway and a pretty single room with a Victorian style day bed. There is also a further family bathroom with bath and electric shower over. All of these rooms have sloping ceiling and beams.
At the end of the landing take three steps down to a double bedroom (which was once a hayloft ) with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room A large window overlooks the gardens to the rear of the property and has wonderful views of the countryside.
