Higher Mullacott Farm Holiday Cottages nestle peacefully amongst the hills overlooking the magnificent North Devon coast between Woolacombe and Ilfracombe.

The farm consists of two cottages, tastefully converted from barns and the owner’s 17th century farmhouse, itself available for letting in July and August, and further traditional farm outbuildings, one of which is listed in the Domesday Book.) around a picturesque and historic courtyard.

Aggie’s Cottage sleeps 6 plus cot in 3 bedrooms (2 dble & 1 twin) plus 2 bathrooms. Once the farm stables. it retains many of its original architectural features but has been carefully refurbished in a comfortable contemporary style with all modern home comforts.

Dolly’s Barn (sleeping 11 plus cot) is ideal for larger family groups and celebrations. Dolly’s oozes character with sloping ceilings, beams and stone walls with views across the fields to the North Devon coast. It also caters for people with disabilities having a ground floor bedroom with en-suite ‘wet room’.

Aggies Cottage (the cottage)

Step into the open plan living area through the pretty courtyard door into a fully equipped kitchen area with all you'll need to prepare big breakfasts, banquets or just quick snacks with the aid of a microwave.

Between the lounge and kitchen areas there's a traditional pine farmhouse table that seats 6 comfortably. After meals relax in the lounge area on the wrap-around sofas listening to music, watching DVDs on the flat screen TV, curl up with a good book or rediscover the joys of board games with your children or friends.

A Victorian style bathroom with an original roll top bath and toilet with pull chain cistern can be found at the foot of the stairs off the living area. At the top of the main stairs is a cosy double bedroom - full of character with sloping ceilings and pine beams. There are sea views from the windows.

From the kitchen area, 2 steps lead to a hall way off which is a large double with king-sized bed and 1 twin bedroom, with shared en suite bathroom.

A stable door in the lounge area leads out to 3.5 acres of beautiful grounds for you to enjoy with a private picnic area and gas-fired BBQ exclusive for Aggies guests. The gardens contain a football pitch, swingball, volleyball net, chilrens play area and other facilities - or just relax on seats and enjoy the views.
