More about Barnstaple (the location)

Built in the 17th Century, fully refurbished in 2010, Rock sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin). Its thick walls keep it cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. Each room has a storage heater and a wood burner in the living room to ensure cosy winter evenings.

Rock Cottage (the cottage)

The cottage is well equipped. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, 2 Digital TV’s with DVD , DAB tuner/ CD player, For days out, there are even vacuum flasks and picnic ware.

The oak beamed lounge contains a large inglenook fireplace with woodburner, sofa and chairs on which to relax and watch TV, listen to music (i-Pod port on Hi-Fi) or rediscover the delights of jigsaws and boardgames.

Upstairs are two bedrooms and family bathroom with full-sized bath with overhead shower. One bedroom has a small en suite facility with sink and WC.

Rock has a terrace garden with lovely outdoor seating areas, the lower patio having all weather wooden dining table, chairs and parasols. and off road parking space for 2 cars.
