More about Rosemergy (the location)

Welcome to our home Rosemergy. Our beautiful, recently converted barn is not a traditional holiday home. It is our personal home (we live in tied accommodation in term time) and promises a home from home holiday in the far west of Cornwall.

Rosemergy Holiday Cottage (the cottage)

Rosemergy is at the end of a quiet cul de sac in a friendly, rural hamlet. It was converted in 1993 with space and convenience in mind. Like many Cornish properties the living room is upstairs to take advantage of the uninterrupted views over moorland. Three of the four bedrooms are downstairs making it ideal for small children and those with restricted mobility. Being only 3 miles from Penzance on the south coast and 6 miles from St Ives on the north coast, Rosemergy is perfectly situated for day trips to all the main attractions in the far west of Cornwall.

Spacious Double Room (ground floor)

A spacious (we use it as a playroom) yet cosy (with its wood burning stove) master bedroom with views onto the garden and large French windows to the terrace. The vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and minstrels? gallery add a touch of romance whilst, on the practical side, there is an en-suite bathroom complete with bath, shower and baby changing area. Stable doors lead from the bathroom to the garden.

Large Double Bedroom (1st floor)

The only bedroom upstairs, this large, airy room has views over the garden and moorland at the back of the house. It has an en-suite shower room and dressing room/nursery at the front. The nursery has a full size cot (122cm x 60cm) ? please remember, knowing how particular babies can be, to bring your own cot linen.

Twin Room (ground floor)

A cheerful twin room with plenty of hanging space (and an additional oversized wardrobe outside in the hall) and just across the hall from the large family bathroom.

Bunk Room (ground floor)

Always the children?s choice, despite the offer of a twin room next door, with sturdy pine bunks, a chest of drawers and black out blinds in the optimistic hope that you might be allowed a lie-in
