More about Penrose Bed and Breakfast (the location)

Penrose is an elegent Victorian House built in 1880 which retains a wealth of original features, including fireplaces in most of the large rooms, cornicing, ceiling roses, chandeliers, high ceilings and stained glass windows. Even though Penrose is elegant and grand, when you walk in you will experience a homely atmosphere as Chris & Heidi greet you personally. There is off road parking at the back of the house just off Scrations Lane.

Penrose Bed and Breakfast self catering apartment (the cottage)

Chris and Heidi welcome you to Pensilver, a one or two bedroom ground floor apartment, which is part of Penrose B&B an AA 4 star rated establishment, and can sleep 5 people. It can be self-catering or B&B accommodation.

The first bedroom has a double bed plus 2 comfy armchairs. Just off the bedroom is the bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with table and chairs.

Interconnecting doors go from the first bedroom to another large bedroom with a king size bed, single bed, and a 2-seater leather sofa. There is a shower ensuite.

All the bedrooms have Freeview TV, DVD/CD player, bathrobes, hairdryer, extensive beverage tray, bottled water and toiletries. The ensuites have showers plus fresh towels, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel.

Lostwithiel is the antiques capital of Cornwall and has many pubs, restaurants, a river walk, church, museum etc within a 10-minute walk. The Eden Project is only a 10-minute drive, so are the local beaches.
