More about Higher Witheven Farm (the location)

Located down a quiet green lane just outside the North Cornish village of Canworthy Water, offering enchanting walks across the farmland (don’t be surprised if you’re accompanied by the odd free ranging chicken or duck).

There’s a good pub less than 5 minutes drive at Wainhouse Corner where the pasties in the convenience store come highly recommended. The nearest beach is about 10 minutes drive at Crackington Haven, a secluded beach with rock pools, waves good enough for bodyboarding, coastal walks and a tempting choice of cafes. Venture a little further afield to Widemouth Bay (also great for surfing), Bude, Boscastle and Tintagel, where the cliff top castle is reputed to be Camelot. Attractions worth a visit include The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, or make a day trip of it and explore the National Maritime Museum and National Aquarium on the South Cornish coast.
