Blanches Windsor at Classy Cottages

Cornwall - 2 miles along the Coast West of Polperro - Large Self Catering Holiday Cottage - 3 Acres of Gardens Blanches is everyone's dream - the classic coastal residence - sea views, situated on its own, down a track, between the single lane coast road and the sea and near the delightful hamlet of Lansallos. From the garden, just walk down through meadows of wild flowers (top view) to an almost private cove and West to other NT dog friendly beaches. Self catering with a difference. This is a unique venue for that special holiday, celebration or family party. Windsor has large reception rooms and will comfortably sleep 2 - 10 (5 bedrooms), or with adjoining Blanches Meadow, up to 16. Out of season, the rental is based on 2, with a charge for extra guests.
Windsor is entered through a solid Gothic door, giving access to a wide hall with a huge woodburner. Delabole slate floors, vast exposed timber beams, spacious reception rooms and high vaulted ceilings give just a touch of baronial splendour.

Blanches Windsor is a fantastic and unique self catering property. The accommodation consists of a spacious, fully equipped kitchen merging into a dining area with a 'banquet size' table. There is a great wood burner in the beamed and expansive drawing room and another in the galleried hallway. Minstrels are an extra but you do have the decorative old church organ on the landing! Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, a king, double and 2 twins. 3 enjoy beautiful views down the garden and valley to the sea. 2 have hand basins. There is a large shower room (2 basins) with WC.
Downstairs, there is a small twin bedroom. This room is suitable for an elderly or disabled person who can not manage the stairs - next to this bedroom is a large bathroom. There is an additonal WC downstairs. The house is centrally heated. There is wireless broadband and a coinphone. On rare occasions, we may need to share the line. Beautiful spring water from our private spring.
