It is a grade 2 listed building, dating back to the 17th century. Its comprehensive facilities provide comfortable two-bedroom accommodation for four people. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.
The cottage boasts many period features including an inglenook fireplace, oak beams and pine panelling. It is compact, cosy and quirky with restricted headroom in some places.
There are two bedrooms: a double and a twin. The twin bedroom is up very steep stairs, making it unsuitable for young children or old people.
Facilities include gas central heating, wi-fi internet, fridge, oven and hob, microwave, televisions, DVD players, washing machine and tumble dryer. Linen is included. A cot and high-chair are available on request. Furnishings are tasteful throughout with lots of the owners’ personal touches.
In winter the log burner creates a comfy atmosphere. On a sunny day the secluded courtyard provides a great place to sit outside.
Free parking is included in a nearby lock-up garage.
