Woodmans Cottage (the cottage)

Built around 1850 and in a peaceful location within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of the North Pennines, this traditional end terraced stone cottage has been lovingly refurbished to a high standard. It exudes a wealth of original rustic character yet has every modern convenience from wireless broadband to full central heating. From its garden, views of the fells and the meandering burn at the bottom of the garden can be taken in.
On road parking available - this is a very quiet area with very little traffic.

The comfortable lounge with Sky Freeview, TV/DVD/CD Player, electric log effect fire with remote control! We also keep a range of games and books for lazy days!

The Master Bedroom - we have had many compliments about what a good nights sleep people get here. A combination of the quiet, the fresh air and the comfortable mattress.

A large farmhouse style kitchen/diner with a welsh dresser and electric log effect fire. It also has all of the modern touches including a halogen hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer.

The comfortable back bedroom has two single beds and plenty of storage space. Each bed has its own light for reading.

The bathroom has a great corner bath for soaking away a long days walk! It also has a 8.5kw electric shower over the bath.

There is a lovely garden area to sit out in. A table and 4 chairs are provided and also a barbeque facility in the summer period.
