More about Bowlees Farm (the location)

Bowlees farm is situated in the heart of the beautiful County Durham, located in the idyllic country side village of Wolsinghom.

Bowlees farm offers you the remoteness of a country retreat with its own swimming pool, in door hot tub and its own full size snooker table, as well as being a brilliant starting point for exploring the region with good transport links to the metro center, the city of Newcastle and the whole of durham itself.

Whether you choose to take in the amazing countryside that county Durham has to offer or are looking for a quite retreat before taking in the night life the local towns have to offer. Bowlees Farm is the ideal place to stay.

Bowlees Farm (the cottage)

The cottage is at the rear and on the first floor of the farmhouse building. It has two double bedrooms, one single bedroom, living room with kitchen, bathroom. All rooms have under floor heating and fitted carpets.

Bedroom 1 (double)
King size pine bed, built in wardrobe, En-suite toilet and basin, three windows and furniture.

Bedroom 2 (double)
Two single beds, built in wardrobe and furniture.

Bedroom 3 (small single)
One single bed and built in wardrobe.

Living room
Digital Free view TV, DVD, 3 & 2 seater leather settee, pine table and chairs, fitted and fully equipped oak kitchen, dishwasher, Belfast sink, Cooker and microwave.

Bathroom
Bath with shower, W.C. and Basin.

All bed linen provided, BBQ facilities,
Mobile phone and wireless broadband reception.

Pool complex
The pool is full size 9m by 5m indoor and max 2m deep. It is filled with fresh spring water and kept at around a perfect 30C using the eco smart chemical free water system (no chlorine or salt) and under floor heating through out for you comfort.

The six-seater Jacuzzi hot tub is on the same system but the water is usually around 40C. It has a built in TV and hi fi system with bubbles as well as two pump hydro massage and ozone generator.

From the main pool area you can access a changing room, which leads to the sauna.
We also have a snooker room with a full size table (12ft by 6ft).
