Conveniently located for both the M1 and M42 motorways, the market towns of Ashby de la Zouch and Melton Mowbray and the university town of Loughborough and set in the heart of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, with ready access to the Garendon Trail and National Cycle Network. Donington Park is just 10 minutes drive, for car and bike racing and festivals. Alton Towers 45 minutes.

The Retreat (the cottage)

Completed in August 2011, The Retreat boasts 47inch LED T.V, with surround sound system and iPod connection, and free wi-fi access. A luxurious fully tiled bathroom with separate bath and shower, heated towel rail and quality bathrobes, spacious dressing room and large double bedroom make for extremely comfortable accommodation, which is complimented by a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, integrated fridge/freezer, dish washer and washing machine, electric hob combi-microwave and coffee machine. Full central heating, double glazing and mood lighting make for a convivial indoor space for a relaxing retreat at any time of year. Guests are most welcome to enjoy the 13.5 acres in which the principal house is set and the luxurious indoor spa, with 31degree swimming pool, Jacuzzi and multi-jet shower as well as 47” LED T.V, DVD and surround sound system. The Retreat enjoys a private driveway and its own designated parking, allowing guests privacy and space.

The Retreat, which has adjacent stabling and an all weather floodlit ménage, is the perfect bolt hole for those who want to explore the area on horseback. Cyclists will appreciate the extensive adjoining storage facilities and walkers have access immediately from the grounds onto an extensive network of footpaths. Equally The Retreat pampers those who prefer to relax and do nothing but enjoy the indoor spa and luxurious accommodation.
